On 13 October, Ananya hosted a very special evening of calming, colouring and pampering at the House of Elemis in Mayfair, London. It was an opportunity for the guests to leave the cares of their busy day behind, to unwind with a complimentary 30 minute spa treatment, then take a seat in the Penthouse at their very own colouring station to relax and re-connect to their childhood and the sheer joy colouring with limited edition ‘Colour Me’ stationery designs by Ananya.
Food, drinks and colourful displays of stationery
The adult colouring craze has been taking the world by storm in recent years, with adult colouring books shooting to the top of Amazon bestseller lists and sales soaring in bookstores by up to 300% year on year. Billed by The Guardian as ‘the new therapy’, filling in the intricate and beautiful designs can be a fun, creative way to de-stress and enjoy the nostalgia of cherished childhood memories. Clinical psychologists have noted that colouring can actually temporarily alter brain waves, giving busy minds a much-needed rest, and could even help to relieve symptoms of mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
At Ananya, we are constantly incorporating new trends into our stationery designs, and the idea of colouring therapy has truly captured our hearts. Based on our trend predictions for 2016, Ananya has designed what we think are stunning outlines, which were unveiled at the ‘Colour Me’ evening.
The limited edition ‘Colour Me’ collection is now available online at Ananya, including interactive wedding invitations that guests may colour and keep as memento, seasonal and thank you cards. Prices start from £3.50.
